Thai
Student Association (TSA) is a student-run organization
at the University of Pennsylvania. With other student
organizations, we serve in Penn Community to promote the
awareness of our culture, and integrate with other communities. |

Statement: |
- Our
constitution.
- Serve
as a responsible representative of Thailand and its people.
- Serve
as a second home for Thai people, making available information,
advice, and support.
- Increase
interaction with the Penn community, thereby making our
presence and unique culture felt.
- Coordinate
with other groups to bring special events to the Penn community.
- Engage
in activities beyond the Penn campus to promote interaction
with other groups, both Thai and non-Thai.

A unified Thai kingdom was established in the mid-14th century;
it was known as Siam until 1939. Thailand is the only southeast
Asian country never to have been taken over by a European power.
A bloodless revolution in 1932 led to a constitutional monarchy.
