The mission of the Penn Graduate Women in Science and Engineering (PGWISE) is to enhance the graduate experience of women in science and engineering; to improve the environment for women pursuing careers in science and engineering; and to increase the representation of women in science and engineering at all levels at the University of Pennsylvannia. We aim to do this by advocating for the women in the represented programs and by planning progams revolving around the following topics:
- Networking and career development skills
- Personal development skills
- Issues concerning women in the workplace
- Work/life balance and well-being
