Tabling 101
We will be tabling on the walk Wed and Thurs of this week and need volunteers to fill time slots between 10 and 2 on both days. More importantly, we want over important tips to keep in mind when tabling in order to ensure that we're reaching as many as people as possible. To keep in mind when tabling:
--there is to be two people tabling at ALL times
--there will be instructions that highlight these tips at the table on the walk
--If someone approaches the table requesting information, be sure to get their name and email so we can add them to our listserve
--Handing out copies to EVERYONE on the walk is a great idea - you never know who will be interested in our events or our cause! So hand out like mad. . . we're not trying to conserve the copies we've made.
--Shouting and getting excited about what we're 'advertising' is great, just be sure that you're not screaming anything that could really offend anyone (that being aside from the word 'choice'!)
--Be sure to emphasize that we're not pro-abortion, but rather PRO-CHOICE!
--Assertiveness is a great quality to have when on the walk!!!! We want not only pro-choice but also PRO-ACTIVE tablers!
Reaching out the other groups on campus to speak about the March in D.C.: If you would like to speak about the March (or think that someone from Penn for Choice should) to another organization that you are involved in or to a class that you're taking, let Katherine Lee (klee@sas) know ASAP so someone can get on it.
Soon, March tickets will be sold at the Women's Center. Once you can purchase your tickets for the March there, we will let you know.

Fundraising Letters:
This form letter is meant to be sent to family, close family/friends, and anyone else that you feel confident may be interested in giving a donation to subsidize March costs. These letters are key to us raising enough money to get down to the March at a low cost, so please, it is vital that all our members take initiative and send this letter out ASAP. All donations given in check form should be made out to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania. Don't worry, the trustees are merely acting as a bank, the $ is not going to them! Our own Christie Susi will be collecting the checks, so look for her at our weekly meeting to turn in your received donations. After you have sent out the letter, don't hesitate to follow up with a phone-call! So everyone should make it their goal to send these letters out be the end of this week so we can have the money in hand well before the March. To all those that donate, we will be sending ver! y nice thank you letters after the March!

Lastly, all our members should be thinking about buying March tickets now! $20 . . . everything is included . . . buy them now!

And of course, we have a ton of our famous P4C t-shirts that are ready and waiting to be sold . . . as always, $10!
