President - Akua Domfe
Akua is a senior Health and Societies and African Studies major. She was born in the lovely borough of Brooklyn NY, but currently lives in Staten Island NY. She hopes to one day have a direct impact on health or health policy. She sees herself as someone trying to make the world a better place for God's people. She's a great listener, friend, big sis and is glad to be part of the movement occurring on Penn's campus through NSP.

Vice President - Martha Dua-Awereh
Martha was born and bred in Brooklyn, NY. She is first-generation Ghanaian-American, and first generation to go to college in her family. She is a senior in the College and majors in Philosophy, concentrating in Philosophy of Science, and minoring in Biology. She joined New Spirit of Penn in the fall of her freshman year and has been hooked ever since. Martha's motto is "You can do it!" This motto was acquired from her mother's motto which is "You can do it because God says you can." Martha is very excited to be serving as Vice-President of the choir and prays that her high expectations for the choir will be matched with God's will.

Secretary - Nifesimi Olojede
I am a sophomore in the college from Long Island, New York. I am currently majoring in Health and Societies on the pre-med track. I am blessed to be part of this wonderful choir, and hope that all who join, will realize what great blessing the choir truly is. This is really the BEST gospel choir on campus!! :-)

Business Manager - Racquel Skold
I have a passion for singing and a passion for serving God, so NSP is the perfect place for me! I am a junior in the college pursuing a Biology degree with hopes of attending medical school. I have been in NSP since the first week of my freshman year and it has really become a second family to me. Other than that, I really really love Philly and I'm excited for my last two years at Penn! Holla!

Business Manager - Jidekene Iruka
Greetings from Australia! My name is Jide Iruka, a senior from Boston and will be the Business Manager for the latter part of the year. As I am thousands of miles away, I won't have the opportunity to witness the greatness that is NSP, but when I return, I'm sure my last semester with NSP will be full of glorious work. To old and new members, continue to praise God for all he's done and know that worshipping through song is one of the many ways we can thank Him for giving us life. Good Luck & God Bless!

Treasurer - Shani Syphrett
My name is Shani Syphrett and I am both happy and blessed to be serving as the treasurer of NSP for the 2nd year. I am from Brooklyn, New York and a senior in the college majoring in BBB and pre-med. As I round out my 4th year with NSP I look forward to praising HIM unconditionally with a group of people who have become my home away from home. Sang Choir!

Parliamentarian - Brandi Waters
Hello everyone! I'm Brandi and I represent the great state of New Jersey! I'm a sophomore in the College majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Latin American and Latino Studies. I love God, I love Penn, and I love NSP. I'm so happy I have the opportunity to praise God and serve His people through NSP, as He has blessed me so much in my life already. I like to read, dance, and watch movies- and I'm really excited to see what God has in store for NSP this year!

Director - Darryl Powell
Darryl is a native of Philadelphia and a pre-med junior in the College majoring in the Biological Basis of Behavior. He is extremely excited to see what God has in store for the choir, as this will be his first year as Music Director. Darryl plans to challenge the choir spiritually through scripturally sound music as well as vocally through songs with higher levels of difficulty. Some of Darryl’s hobbies include playing the piano, singing classical music, and reading Christian literature.

Chaplain - Elizabeth Hines
There isn’t much to say about myself, but I think this sums it up: I’m just doing what I like doing and I hope it shows. I sought out the chaplaincy primarily because I know that it’s my obligation to give back to the choir and the God who has given so much to me. I’m here to be your support throughout the year, whether it’s just the need of an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, or someone to rejoice with: I’m here.

Webmaster - Mandisa John
I am a Junior in the college from JERSEYYYY! I am majoring in sociology and hope to attend law school. This marks my second year in the choir and first as Webmaster and I have loved every second of it!! I thank God for bringing me to this group of wonderful and talented people. I definitely look forward to working on the website this year. I hope you like it!!
