  • Youth Resource Network of Canada - A government site run by youth offering a multitude of information on the employment world, such as the choice of careers, training and education, job offers, and much more.

  • Canada's Online Campus Career Center - Provides authoritative information, advice and service to students in career planning.

  • CanadianCareers.com - Jobs and employment/career info for Canadians. Very nice selection of occupations with references to sources for finding even more info and jobs. Job seeksers will also want to check the "News and Events" page for info on upcoming career fairs and internship deadlines. Very nice, well rounded site covering all facets of career and employment info for Canadians.

  • CanadaJob.com - A large, impressive job site for Canada. View the most recent jobs, search by keyword, browse by region or job category, check out the employers by name or industry type (nice profiles), or submit your resume (free, but they are very particular about how it is done).

  • Canada WorkinfoNET - Canada's Work Information Network. Job vacancies, job search info, labor market data, career information and profiles, and all kinds of support information for anyone seeking work in Canada. Check their list of Partner Sites for local provincial information and resources.

  • Canadian Executive Recruitment - Recruiting professionals in Engineering, Operations/Production, Logistics/Materials for a variety of Canadian manufacturing areas. Take a look at his suggestions for interviewing, resumes, and follow-up letters.

  • CareerMosaic Canada - Service from CareerMosaic dedicated to Canadian employment opportunities and information.

  • CareerPlace - A job search support service, CareerPlace is an initiative of the Native Women's Association of Canada, a non-profit organization representing Aboriginal women across Canada. This site targets Aboriginal women in Canada. The site contains limited information about the organization, as well as information on how to submit a resume.

  • Human Resources Development Canada - This is the employment service for Canada, including a central resource bank and several regional ones. In addition to the job bank, other information on how to Job Search, unemployment information, and training programs is included.

  • The Electronic Labour Exchange - Opportunities all over Canada. Select a job/career category, fill out your experience, and see if anything matches. For those seeking new careers, the career profiles are interesting to read.

  • Canada-Wide HRDC Job Bank - Easier to search than the ELE, above. Allows checking of all jobs submitted in the last 48 hours for a specific region, which is a lot easier than the skill-match.

  • List of Local HRDC Jobbanks - Categorized by province, then local area. Many job listings are duplicated in the national list, above.

  • JobSat - A free service for job seekers looking for employment in Canada and select US locations. You will need to register for best access.

  • National Graduate Record - From Industry Canada, this is a resource designed for recent graduates to help figure out the next step and match these candidates to employers. Employment information is password protected (speak to your school's career center for access), but it looks like an excellent tool for finding opportunities and information on employment opportunities and employers in Canada.

  • Positionwatch Information Technology Employment Network - IT jobs in Canada. Search by keyword or check the employer list.

  • Public Service Commission of Canada - Jobs with the Canadian Federal Government.

  • Sympatico - Canadian guide to information and news from all over the country. Check out the business section for great career articles.
