"Penn is a miniature version of the world, and in that model, PASS is the miniature version of the Arab World. One day...those very people you see in our meetings are going to become the leaders of our Arab societies. If you can learn to make a change in Penn through PASS, the day will come when you have acquired enough skills and knowledge to impact change in the real world."

“With the rising stereotypes of Arab peoples around the world, I feel
obligated to ensure my community understands what it truly means to be
Arab and the beauty of being an Arab. I feel obligated to eliminate
any negative prejudice and create another new set of positive
reactions towards us. Undoubtedly, working with PASS will bring about
more positive attitudes amongst the Penn community towards its Arab
minority and enlighten people about the beauty and importance of the
Arab world.”

“So, I'm Aseel and I'm the Cultural Awareness Chair for PASS/coolest member of PASS *well, you can be the judge of that ;)*. I hope to bring AMAZING events to the Penn community to really gauge their interest in our multinational organization while emitting some of our heritage and culture! I'm currently a sophomore and joined PASS b/c I love all the Arabs in it and am so proud of where I come from and who I am. I enjoy riding camels, and especially living in tents. No, but seriously, I enjoy playing some soccer and volleyball, dancing like a maniac, and traveling across the U.S./the world. I hope that you get as excited as I am about PASS and all the events we have lined up for your entertainment and awareness.”
