During the Fall season, the Void plays a tournament every few weeks. In these tournaments, we focus primarily on teaching incoming rookies the basic tactics and skills necessary to play. It is also an oportunity for our veterans to experiment with their game and expand their responsibilities on the field. Based on how things develop during the Fall, our personnel, and individual and leadership talents, we form our A and B squads for the Spring season.
Our Spring season contains our single and most important goal (aside from having lots of fun at Spring Break) for the year as a team: prepare for Sectionals, Regionals and Nationals. In the Spring, we split ourselves into set rosters of A and B teams, and work on the gelling-together of our teams. We have tournaments pretty much every week, and so the chance to get better and better is always present. Spring is the time when the Void comes through as the Champion team that we players know it is.
